HUMPTY'S MEDICAL PROGRAM: SAVING LIVES THROUGH EQUIPMENT AND INITIATIVES

At Humpty, we are dedicated to collaborating with hospitals and healthcare services to enhance the capacity and capabilities of healthcare professionals in managing critical and life-threatening medical emergencies. Our approach combines the provision of paediatric medical equipment with strategic health initiatives.

HOW HUMPTY'S MEDICAL PROGRAM WORKS

Throughout the year, the Humpty Medical Team invites Australian public hospitals and healthcare services to submit requests for urgently needed medical equipment through our Hospital Submissions Portal.

Ensuring the well-being of neonatal and paediatric patients is Humpty’s top priority. Equipment requested by hospitals is specifically intended to benefit sick and premature babies as well as children.  Humpty's pre-approved equipment list contains a limited number of essential pieces of medical equipment that hospitals and health services can apply for. While there is a maximum limit of two pre-approved pieces per request, Humpty's Medical Program Advisory Committee (MPAC) will assess submissions for multiple items.

For multiple-item requests or equipment not listed on our pre-approved list, the MPAC will assess these submissions and refer certain cases to the Humpty Board of Directors for further consideration, if necessary.

Partnering for a Healthier Future

At Humpty, we understand that collaboration is key to making a lasting impact. Humpty's Medical Team actively engages with healthcare experts throughout Australia to identify priority health initiatives that we can support.

SPECIAL PROJECTS AND HEALTH INITIATIVES

At Humpty, we believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our communities. Join us in our mission to save lives, enhance healthcare, and promote a healthier future for all.

Humpty is not limited to providing equipment alone. We actively support health initiatives and projects that promote paediatric health and well-being, improve overall health outcomes, and allow children to recover closer to home. Our commitment to paediatric health extends beyond the confines of a hospital room.
