HOW TO HELP

Sick children need medical equipment to get better. That is where Humpty helps – and you can help too.

FUNDRAISE FOR HUMPTY

Every dollar donated supports Humpty in closing the heath inequity gap, giving sick babies and children a fighting change by providing hospitals with the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

FUNDRAISE YOUR WAY

Set a goal and fundraise for Humpty. You could have a garage sale or a morning tea. Have a birthday coming up? Paying it forward can make for a meaningful alternative to gift-giving.

GET ACTIVE FUNDRAISING

Represent Humpty at your favourite sporting event or create your own activity based challenge. Encourage your friends and family to sponsor you to complete the challenge and reach your fundraising goal.

HOST YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING EVENT

Create a community-driven event for you and your network and dedicate the proceeds to Humpty. Host a golf day or a gala, a wine dinner or a raffle - get creative!

FUNDRAISE IN MEMORY

Honour a loved one’s memory. Fundraise as a meaningful way to honour the memory of a loved one and keep them forever in your heart.

FUNDRAISING TIPS

Turbo-charge your fundraising with these simple tips.

PERSONALISE YOUR PAGE

Make your fundraising page your own by uploading a personal photo and message. Tell your personal story about why you are helping to raise funds for Humpty. This will help build a connection to why you are raising funds for sick kids in hospital.

SPREAD THE WORD

Share your fundraising page on your favourite social media platforms or post flyers for your community to see. Email is also a great way to spread the word about your fundraiser. Use the downloadable assets below to keep things eye-catching.

AIM HIGH AND SELF-DONATE

Set a goal and decide how much money you would like to raise. Keep everyone updated on your progress. People will want to help you reach that goal. The trick is to post regular updates. Consider kickstarting your fundraising with a generous donation from yourself. People tend to match amounts already donated.

FACE-TO-FACE

Talk to people about your fundraising efforts in-person.  The number one reason people donate to charities is that they were asked. The more people you ask to support you, the more funds you will raise and the more kids we can help. So please – start asking.

FOLLOW UP AND SAY THANK YOU

Don’t be afraid to send out friendly reminders. People may have been too busy to take action when they first saw your call-out and need a little push. Be sure to say a big thank you to your generous supporters each time they donate to your fundraising page.

KEEP FUNDRAISING

A significant amount of donations are received after the fundraiser has finished. Continue to fundraise when your activity is over. You can let those who supported you know whether you have achieved your goal and invite anyone who still hasn’t donated to do so.
