The John Hunter Hospital and John Hunter Children's Hospital is the principal referral centre and a tertiary hospital for Newcastle, and northern NSW. The 796-bed hospital is the main teaching hospital of the University of Newcastle, which means they need state-of-the-art medical equipment to train their clinicians to ensure they can provide the best care possible for their little patients. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at John Hunter Children’s Hospital and four nearby regional hospitals need AIRVO 3 humidifiers.

Humidification is crucial for babies and children suffering from respiratory problems such as bronchitis, pneumonia and cystic fibrosis. Humidified air and oxygen help these babies breathe restfully and clear their chests for ongoing treatment and recovery.
